The Chefwood from Wood Steel Knives. Occasionally, we receive requests to build something that is outside of our normal model line-up. While we try to accommodate all requests within the parameters of our equipment and time; every once-in-a-while the byproduct can be something really cool. Case in point; we recently received a request for chef knives. Chef knives are not normally something we produce, but we decided “Why not,” so here goes the neighborhood. 

This design I came up with It’s a little less than traditional but ended up coming out really cool.

Specifications:

Steel: 1/8” thick AEB-L stainless

Handle Material: Stabilized burl maple in Blue, Orange, and Coffee with Compound Miter cut bolster and glow-in-the-dark inserts.
